Well, here it is. The finished top with the pieced borders. I am super happy with it. I had a few moments of despair when I thought I wasn’t going to have enough scraps to make the borders, but being one to never throw any pieces away, I was able to use some very small pieces to pull it out. It’s finished size is 46″x68″. Now I need to find a long arm quilter here in the Springs to finish it for me. I have a few names from my fave quilt shop that I will call and get pricing. Yea! another finished project to cross off my list, and tomorrow is Wednesday already!
Very colorful, very busy, but very well pulled together;) I wish my city was that colorful right now….the drab of winter is wearing heavy on my spirits!!
Happy Quilting!!!
Seventhsister26, I know how you feel. I am ready for spring. This winter has already overstayed its welcome. Thanks for your comments!
Erica,
Today is Wednesday, over the hump day as we used to call it at work. The weekend won’t be too far behind, but can you believe it is almost the end of January already?
I am glad that you had enough fabric to finish this quilt top. I really like it. Great job.
I have to tell you that I finished the cross stitching on one of my projects. It is still a WIP, as I have to finish it, but at least I have all the cross stitch done.
Thanks for your inspiration.
Love You
Grandma
Yeah!! Good for you, Grandma. You will have that WIP done in no time.
