Well, it has been a while. I know. This semester has passed by so quickly, I don’t know where the time has gone. but…I have been crafty lately. First, I finished hand-tying and binding this quilt (the pictures aren’t great-sorry).
As always, Merlin, my quality control manager, sends seasons greetings to all with a *public service announcement* to get your sewing machines cleaned and serviced at your local sewing machine repair shop so you can continue to make all those last minute projects. You know who you are! (Yes, I’m one of them…)
And now I’m working on this runner. The pattern is called “boardwalk” and the fabric is “Swell” by Urban Chicks. It is made from 16 – 5″ squares from a charm pack. The green fabric is from Kona and the white with pink dots is from Hobby Lobby. I don’t know what brand, but it’s the same fabric I used on the pillow I made a few months ago. All I have left to do is quilt it and bind it, and then it’s off to some lucky recipient. Hopefully I’ll have more pictures of the finished project tomorrow. I also have pictures of my Adia Garden Fairy cross-stitch, which I have been working on when I can sneek in some time to just sit and stitch. Until next time, hugs and best stitches! E
Wow—Erica, you have been busy. Another beautiful quilt finished, and as beautiful as all the rest of them. It really turned out nice. I really love the colors in this one too. The table runner is really pretty too, with the bright colors in it. When did you find time to finish both of them, and work on your cross-stitch too. You amaze me. Wonderful job on both of them. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and Ty sends her regards to your control manager.
Love You
