Flower Quilt Blocks Finished

Hi everyone.  First let me say, please excuse the poor quality of this photo.  My camera died today and so, I took pictures with my husband’s phone.  They didn’t come out too well.  I’ll try to get a better shot tomorrow during the day light hours.  I just couldn’t wait to get this post on here because these block have taken me forever!  So, I’m pretty pleased they are done.  Now I just have to sew them together and add the borders.  Also, I laid them all out on our guest bed, which is a queen, and as you can see, it is going to be a rather large quilt.  There are still white triangle blocks to put around the border and then another border made with the remaining 2 1/2″ strips that I need to sew together.  So, still more work to do, but it is coming along nicely.  So, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I replanted my tomatoes and planted all the seeds for the vegetable garden and in the process got quite the sunburn. Oops!  I’ll be hitting Target tomorrow for some more aloe vera gel.  Hopefully I’ll post again soon.  I took a personal day tomorrow, so no work for me.  That leaves only 3 more days until “school’s out for summer…”
