So, here is the finished Tigerlily, all ironed out. Now I just have to get it framed. I’m not sure yet how to frame it. I really love the look of gold frames with these designs, so I might consider that. I’m currently in the process of washing my Rouennaries fabric so that I can start cutting it. I usually don’t wash my jelly roll strips as most of my patterns have said not to. That is the dilemma of quilting. To wash or not to wash? What do you all think? I know that there is a chance of the colors running when the quilt is washed later, but how often has that really happened to you all? Just wondering. Well, I’m off to check the washer and get caught up on my housekeeping before Monday comes. I must say, I really enjoyed my heated seats today, since the temps dipped back down to the 30’s. Hugs, E
Erica, the tigerlily crosss stitch really is so pretty. Gold might go really well with the colors in the skirt, and in her wings. Whatever you decide to use to frame her, she is beautiful and another project very well done. Great job.
I have to tell you that I think you have the craziest bunch of students in your class. Your Mom and I just laughed and laughed when we read all the things that they were doing when they took their tests. I don’t know how you kept from laughing out loud. I hope they all did well on their tests, but I am sure that you are glad they are over and I am sure your students are glad too. I am also sure that you are ready for your Spring Break. Hope you will be able to enjoy it.
Again, I wanted to tell you how happy I am for you that you were able to get your new car. It really looks nice, and I am sure it will be so much nicer for you to drive, and easier on the pocket book. Enjoy
Have a great week. I will talk to you soon.
Love You
Grandma
What a beautiful piece! Great job. I agree that gold would be a great frame color. You blow me away every day with how many things in your life you accomplish and seemingly with ease. Love ya sis!
Cheers,
Meg
