Almost There

Hi everyone,

Well, as you can see.  My winter masterpiece is almost complete.  All that I have left is the border on the left and the middle of each letter.  Then I’m done!! Yeah.  I should have it finished tonight, since it’s my tv night and all.  On another front, I must admit that I have “fallen off the wagon”.  I stopped at my local quilting store to get some plain white fabric to use in my next jelly roll quilt.  But…while I was there I eyed this fabulous roll from Kate Spain called Verna and I had to have it.  However, it is not for me, I will say that.  It is the perfect fabric for a quilt that i want to make for someone else and once I’m done with it, I will let you know who. 

Well, it’s off to another day of work.  It is the week before CSAP (standardized testing), so yup, you guessed it, we are doing practice tests.  Poor kids.  Poor teachers.  I would rather be doing something fun like writing poems, but alas, that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.  So until next time.  Happy Crafting.
