WIP’s

Ok, so I don’t want you all to think that I haven’t been up to anything lately.  I’ve decided to use up some of my “honey bun” strips by making book marks.  I made one for my Mom for her birthday recently.  I put antique lace at the ends, but (I can’t believe I forgot) I didn’t take a picture.  Oh well.  I’m also making 18 simple book marks for a class of 2nd graders.  I was going to have my students hand sew them for the little ones, but we tried on Friday, and I guess I never expected that they would have so much trouble hand sewing.  So they got to take home their “efforts” and I am now going to machine sew the bookmarks for the 2nd graders  Maybe I can get my students to embellish them somehow.  I’ll have to think about how to do that…
