Hi, friends. Well, I wish I could say that my day was super productive, but I can’t. I did, however, get started on my valentines, and I’ve included a photo of one in my post. I think this one card took me about three hours to complete, between having to download new fonts onto my new computer (all my fun ones were on my old one) and trying to decide just what I wanted it to look like. I’m pretty pleased with this one. I used paper from Basic Gray’s Two Scoops collection called “cupid’s arrow” and the pretty white tag is from Martha Stewart’s collection at Michaels. I also used Basic Gray ribbon and a pretty brad from Making Memories “Flower Patch” collection. The clear sparkles are from Recollections, and the pink sparkly stickers are from Stampendous. The bird and wing di-cut are from Crate Paper’s “Lillian Collection”, and the paper inside is a left over from my wedding invitation “possibilities”, and it is by Anna Griffin. The card is from Gartner Studios, and I used Martha Stewart’s edge punch “scallop dot” on the edge. Some lucky person in my life is going to get this pretty card. Who? You’ll just have to wait until February and see if it shows up in your mailbox. Well, tomorrow it’s back to work, bright and early. No students until Tuesday, though. Thank goodness. I hope you all have a wonderful first full week of January 2010! Hugs, Erica
